POP - Personal Orientation Project

Welcome to the Personal Orientation Project (POP) Online Training!

This site is for all education professionals, teachers, education consultants and subject specialists who guide and support students as they carry out their personal orientation projects.

For those new to the subject, leading a POP class can be a challenge because teachers are required to become familiar with academic and career information, pedagogy and technology while managing the classroom resources.

This online training is divided into 25 blocks that follow the progression of the school calendar. Depending on which period of the school calendar a teacher is working in, different aspects of the course will need to be addressed with the students.

Throughout this Online Training, you will find references materials and resources which have been developed by your peers. You will be shown how you can contribute to the knowledge base as you refine your skills.

To take full advantage of this training, we suggest you take the time to follow the links and carry out as many of the activities as you find relevant.

If you have any questions about the content of this online training or how it works, please contact Lucie Cormier, program coordinator at the Ministère de l'Éducation, de l’Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche.
